December 10, 2005, The Building Complex of this New Orphanage was completed and Dedicated. The Pastor at this time was seeking funding for the orphanage complex operational costs. Finding a church in New Orleans for funding. However during Hurricane Mitch the Church was destroyed, the people scattered, and funding was lost. Funding has not yet been found by this pastor, which is great concern to HFMI and those who have helped with finances and labor in the construction of this complex. Leaving the structural buildings of the orphanage complex unused for it's intended purpose. Will you consider being part of the answer to get this facility up and operational? It will take approximately $3,000 per month to house 40 boys, provide them with food, clothing and care. Staff would consist of House parents, Cook, and Teacher, one of these positions would also double as the Director. Funding will be collected for a three year time frame, which will provide for the security of the children, staff and operations. Before operations will begin. Further funding will continue to be sought. |
