Michael and Sherril Gizinski,
For many years, Michael and Sherril have been working with people, through encouragement, friendship and assisting those in need. Sherril, as a Volunteer Coordinator for a refugee agency, worked with pastors / churches in Boise, Idaho, helping to coordinate volunteers in meeting the needs of the refugees. Michael worked as a Resource Developer, aiding the newly arrived refugees to the United States with friendship and obtaining furnishings as they settled into a new home, community and country. Michael and Sherril both served as Chaplains in the Kansas City area working with 22 long term care facilities and serving as Chaplains to a local Hospice, giving care to the terminally ill, facility staff, families and patients. Since 2002, Michael and Sherril have been working with individuals, groups and organizations who have a desire and vision to help in their own local communities, cities and nations. They have come along side them to encourage and aide, bringing avenues and strategies, enabling them to fulfill their hopes and dreams, to impact their communities and nation. |
Barbara Spence, Director Barbara Spence attended Warner Pacific Bible College in Portland, Oregon, where she met and married Bill Virgin. Together they pastored several churches in North Dakota, Minnesota and Idaho. Barbara attained a BA in Social Services at the Idaho State University, caring for her young family as a single parent after the death of her husband. Barbara later married Chuck Spence and together they raised nine children. While in California, because of her husband's work, Barbara taught classes in a local Bible College. Barbara is a wealth of knowledge, wisdom, and faith, giving support and encouragement to HFMI. |
